BRP Ramon Alcaraz finally arrived at Subic Bay Freeport Zone (SBFZ) after about a year we acquired the vessel from the US government.
PH 16 upon entering Subic Bay was welcomed by several yachts and other vessels from the Philippine Fleet.
Other yachts and speed boats were forming circles to welcome PF 16.
PF 16 is Philippine Fleet’s 2nd Hamilton-class cutter that we have together with BRP Gregorio Del Pilar (PF 15)
Upon entering the SBFZ other boats started to open their water cannons to welcome PH 16
PF 16 was welcomed by the Philippine Navy and Marines when it docked at the port.
It was a reminiscent of the good ole 80’s during the time of the US Subic Bay Naval Base.
